The Cure GM1 Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: #47-3154419) dedicated to funding research to find potentially life-altering treatment options for those living with GM1 gangliosidosis. See below for important documents related to Cure GM1’s finances below.
Cure GM1 Foundation’s 990 Form (2024)
As a nonprofit organization, the Cure GM1 Foundation is not required to file taxes each year. Instead, the organization completes a “Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax” form, also known as a 990 form. The form allows Cure GM1 to share important information about its work, including financial reporting.
Where your dollar goes
Across all ten fiscal years on record (2015–2024), 86 cents of every dollar Cure GM1 spent went directly to program services, research funding, patient and family support, and awareness. The rest covered the management and fundraising costs every organization needs to operate responsibly.
